In my humble opinion, everything.. works well.. is balanced, on the note of visual weights.
^ 'You' just know.. your brain tells you.. this is a pleasing image.
Kinda, sorta.. the same reason 'we' prefer images of threes, fives.. not so much twos, fours, etc..
