Those who dislike infrared photography like to say it's only good for cemetery shots. It does do a good job of that, true. Scruffy little tufts of weed look glamorous and weathered stones often seem to glow. I'm therefore ending my celebration of Prof. Wood and all that he wrought with a nod to the accomplishment that even detractors acknowledge - and with a silent wave from the cousins who wait through every season for the next generation of photographers and their gadgets.
