When I looked at this image, Randy... I saw the springs inside a mattress! And your work definitely makes the image more interesting than a bunch of springs! Hmmm... the title fits too! :o)
Sorry... not my cup of tea, I don't like this kind of "pictures", (hey I said sorry) and I don't have any idea in what way it's created (if there is any creation), it always seems to be a random result from a software-arithmetic. But I'm Dutch with absolutely no knowledge of altering existing photos into a puzzle. No 5 points for me. Don't even wanna know. Regards, EvK

^^woowwww.. for some reason i get a lot of comments like this. if it's not your thing.. simply don't comment. don't bother telling me it's not your cup of tea. thanks.
Although, being a professional photographer for 37 years specialised in advertising, I realize I'm still a novice as a member here at Caedes.
I understand that most pictures here at Caedes are taken by amateurs so I realize they can not be judged on a professional level, but.... it strikes me that most comments from other members are usually (if not always), expressed in terms as "good, fantastic, well-done, etc", although many pictures I see here at Caedes are not "as good" as the comments want me to believe.
I understand that in most cases the reason for this is well-intentioned but therefore also meaningless.
It is my believe that any comment should be honest and not out off politeness and therefor by definition complimentary, a comment should be fair and if necessary also with criticism or even destructive if this will help the maker (maybe) in making better pictures.
So any comment I'm ASKED to give will be, taking into account that a picture is taken by an amateur, still be honest. I am aware that my kind of comment will not leave me many friends. But hey, who cares... I'm Dutch.

No, in no way did you "critize" my work. You told me you didn't like it simply because you don't know how it's created. It would have been different if you actually critisized this picture. Give some sort of feedback. 99% of your comment was about how you don't like it because you're not knowledgeable on how it's done.

well regardless of the above i also am not usually into this sort of thing however this is really striking and it looks like a lot of effort was required. I really like this and like most of the ideas here i think this reminds me of an iron gate with a thorn bush of some sort growing up and around the bars.
Well done
Emily
Hi everyone thankyou all for taking the time to look and comment on my photos/artwork...unlike many of you i am not a photographer im a stay at home mom! however i always always have my camera to hand and im slowly learning how to edit the photos i capture with adobe. I use my FujiFilm FinePix S1600 to capture 90% of my photos.
