Wow! was my first thought even from the thumbnail Terry. This is a gorgeous presentation of this flower. The color reminds me of orange sherbet.Superb macro shot.
Isn't this lovely...hey...it's sneaking into my favs...The range of color in this flower is captivating and diverse, from the deep orange foreground to the complex interplay of color near the center of the flower to the lighter portions where the sun is kissing this marvelous creation, giving it a different hue.... The background is nice and strong, yet not overpowering, and it appears to me as if the blossom is floating on this complimentary sea of green without losing any of its grounding in the picture. It hangs together so well, congrats :))PJ
Boy we'll have to post this at the University of Texas football games ;) It's a terrific shade of orange and so vibrant (their colors). It's a lovely presentatiaon Terry, excellent post. Thanks for sharing it. TYU ;)
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
You have some really fine specimens here, Terry. Are these all from your garden? I tried a 'color' series last week, but the images weren't all of one thing. I got through about six things and gave it up, but you have been very clever with this series and the shots are simply gorgeous.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
