It has become a great image Terry, some flowers are still in the knob, a second is halfway opening, and last but not least the fully opend flower in its full glory, thanks for the image.
I agree with Hans: the progression from bud to flower makes this a very interesting picture. And the lighting is so pleasant -- these flowers have a nasty habit of reflecting too much sunshine right into the camera.
What a perfectly awesome presentation Terry. The vibrant color and clarity are just way beautiful and the clear blue just bring it out more. Excellent job, excellent capture and definitely a keeper. Thanks for this today.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Oh, she's a beauty. My grandmother used to grow these and I always loved them because they remind me of her. Thanks, Terry. Great composure for this shot for sure!
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

I have to have you reread all the comments that came before me, because I feel the same way about this wonderful take, and all the marvelous details in it. I really enjoyed looking into the middle of the flower and seeing the ribs of color in the petals themselves. It adds so much to a post when it is as beautifully clear as this one. I also would add that the elements of the grades of development don't end with the glorious opened flower, but this plant is sending up even more new babies on top to restart the whole cycle...she may end up touching the sky !!!!! :)PJ
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
