Last year I visited Ticknall which is a small village in South Derbyshire. There was a scarecrow trail and lots of people went to see what scarecrows the locals had made. The best scarecrow would win the competition. While walking along the street, we came across this chap dressed as a scarecrow, but abit worse for wear! He would jump or move when anyone came too close - scaring the unsuspecting!

He kind of looks like a combination of the Scarecrow in The Wizard Of Oz, and Bozo the Clown. LOL. He sure is colorful, Ann. Very nice shot. I like the angle you took this at.

I don't think you should park your scarecrow so close to a fire hydrant, Q-Ann. And, just to be sure, crows in England are frightened by scarecrows dressed in pink!! ;)

Ann, I like to agree with Jimbob to a certain extent. He has more the appearance of a clown than a scarecrow. Think that the colors of his hair and clothes makes him even attractive for crows, lol.
