Such a hush.. so glassine.. gorgeous. My favorite part is the light brown blush on the trees to the left.. Also, an intriguing dock-like structure hiding a bit behind. Beautiful, Tomeast!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
If you thought you lost it for a while, you got it back in spades. You composed this shot well and the DOF is excellent. The muted winter colors are beautiful. Well done!
My goodness! This is magnificent!! And yes, I agree, this should be in a magazine for the world to enjoy even more. SO many people have not seen real snow, and this is about as close to it they might get. It's a most fantastic photo..Bravo!!!. Verena
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
A very fine shot and worthy of such a splendid score. It makes a wonderful desktop, the strength of the composition being matched by the great detail and clarity.
If I had anything helpful to say I would but in my book (lol on my screen) it is top notch.
Lu 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
