Definitely looks like a human form. Nice eye to notice it. I really like the perspective you took your shot. Inspiring and beautiful.

When I try shots like this they never turn out as good as this one. Great perspective & I'm enjoying the colors as well as the gnarly tree branches ... I agree the tree takes on a human characteristic look. Excellent work Tom.

That is quite a uniquely shaped tree. I would be drawn to it too, especially with all that wonderful orange foliage over my head. It is so easy to see the figure in the trunk. Reminds me of the Ents.
