I pass by this small farm from time to time and always admire it. There is an apple orchid across the street but I missed that opp. when it was in bloom.
In another month (or so) there will be a bright golden haze in that meadow.
By the way, when I was a child, we had apple trees and it was my chore to gather up the apples that had fallen to the ground. Since they were usually rotting, soft, and stinky, I hate the chore immensely.
Lots of beautiful green here and like you said, later it will be golden, but just as beautiful. Wonder what is planted in the field to the left. Nice capture.
Tom, this is a very fine summer green capture indeed. I don't see an apple orchard. An apple tree (without apples, however) could be depicted on the right side of your photograph. What I do see is a half-grown corn field in a wooded area. Like Carol, I'm curious to see what's planted in the field on the left of your capture . I don't rule out that it could be potatoes. All these ingredients make your composition to a beautiful and interesting one.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

I am pretty sure that that small crop is potatoes. We do have some soybean fields around here. I pulled over and was standing on the side of the road when I took this photo. The apple orchard was on the opposite side of the road.

But as you noted, quite beautiful when in bloom.
