Selene... the Greek goddess of the moon. She stands by the coast in the darkening twilight, the fresh sea breeze whipping her hair.

The background was created and rendered in Bryce 5.5, then manipulated in Photoshop Elements. The figures (including the moon, mist, birds and beam of light, but not including the moonglow) are Photoshop brushes from the following pages: Redheadstock Light Beams and Rays and Planets; WyckedBrush Tranquility and Tranquility 2.

All the brushes linked to from here can be used in Photoshop Elements 2.0 and up.
