When we visited the Archaeological Museum in Pylos, Greece, I was once again reminded of the incredible achievements of our ancestors. I find it so interesting to view the creations of the ancient worlds. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Also, just a note, I realize I have taken way too many photos over the past few years just using my phone. I think I need to get back to my camera!
The story behind such a treasure is often even more incredible/intriguing than the subject itself. Both are extremely interesting anyhow!
About the use of a cell phone camera vs a DSLR I've this opinion: both have their own advantages and disadvantages. An advantage is the weight of a cell phone camera. The quality of an image made by a DSLR is often of a higher quality.
When I take a DSLR capture, I often use a 25MP body. The camera of my cell phone however has a higher resolution. When I compare the captures (at full screen size) taken at the same spot and time with both of them, the DSLR-result is always better.
To me the situation is leading for which one I use.
Think it's the same with you, but the choice is up to you of course.
