These types of doors can often be found in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The ornament above the door often depicts characteristic features of the (former) owner of the building. For revealing the details of such an ornament the presence of a guide is desirable during a tour or photo shoot. Apparently you weren't accompanied by such a guide, hence the intriguing nature of your otherwise good photograph..

Art is the perception your eyes sees, the movement your hand moves to recreate what your eye sees, and my ability to view and be included in your moment.
