This is a self-made guitar. The wood is tinted in red. There is no manip on the picture, real color! For guitar lovers: mahogany body and neck, quilted birch top, rosewood fretboard, TV-Jones pickups...
Exellent finish. A pickguard would have blocked the view of this A grade quilt. Like the treatment at the end of the fretboard and the super thin binding. Oh, and nice image.
oh wow now THAT's something I wish I had! It's so shiny the strings reflect in it!! That's so awesome! My guitar is black and white *tear*. Oh well.... great job
I wanted you to know that I've had this image as the background on my computer for the better part of the last seven months. Looking at it every day inspired me to buy a red Peavey Predator EXP Plus. I am now learning a completely new way to express myself. I had never considered music as an artform previous to this. I had only looked at music as entertainment in the past. Thank you for changing my perception of the world.
A very sexy shot. I can imagine the opening bit of Harlem Nocturne by The Viscounts (the sultry guitar bit before the sax) whilst looking at this. Something moody yet mysterious about this shot. I want to pick it up and play. Excellent.
Very well done, I would love to see more pictures of this guitar since I am a guitar lover. A quilted birch top is rather unusual, I only know a German manufacturer who offers this feature. If you want, look here: http://www.zerberusguitars.com/Welcome/Gitarren/Morpheus_Daten/morpheus_daten.html The site is in German but I am sure you can figure it out.
This guitar rocks!
