Egrets work very hard gathering the materials to build their nest. The male gathers the twigs and sticks and brings them to the female who arranges them as she deems best.
Perfect timing on the photo Colleen. This one really shows how long their necks are. Amazing. That is quite the twig it has. They sure are busy this time of the year.
