The sun is coming up over the marsh grass on the bayou. The plants of the Graine a Voler (lotus) are waiting for the sunrise to curl their leaves and open the bud of the flower.

Looks like the water equivalent of Frogger Colleen. I can see George manipulating his way across the water. Very nice with the reflections and the soft hue sunrise in the background.

I don't get to see many sunrises here in ORegon, I don't ever seem to be up that early, but I am so very happy you posted this one from Louisiana. I can almost hear the little rainfrogs and the crickets awake with the day, and those lilypads are so lovely!! And of course, the colours of the sunrise, such pretty pastels.
