Someone told me that our sunsets are so beautiful because of the pollution in the air from our chemical and petroleum industry. Probably. I had to ride a few miles in a flatboat to get this shot, and I am not much of a small boat person, but it was worth the fear.

Very nice contrast. If that is caused by pollution, then that's picture proof that global warming has it's perks. Very nice job.

This is beautfiul Colleen. I don't know if that is the reason but I have my doubts. I suspect there is a higher power that has more of an influence. Great colors and such a serene scene.

Beautifully composed closer view of that swampy cypress filled lake. I dunno if I buy that theory either about the chemical plants, although we have several too. Moody and peaceful, thank you for sharing it.
