I think your nose should be visible in the reflection

I really should put my nose to the rhinestone (hahaha = wimp) .. and learn 3D programs

At first I wasn't sure of the background..the ball and the tree are perfection and I love 3D images as I think they are probably very hard to achieve...I don't know because I don't make them....yet....but they look as though they require an amount of expertise...and as I considered all this and took a second look at the background and your title, I had to hit my head..doh...it's perfect for what you are conveying...very nice job :)PJ

Picture Purrrfect . Some people are like slinky's, completely useless but still a lot of fun when you push them down the stairs. 8~O

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such nice comments, ladies and gentlemen! I actually reworked and rendered this image a number of times with different atmospheres as well as other objects in the image. I was almost ready to abort the project when I hit on something I liked after stripping the image of details that did more to distract than enhance it. So glad to know you liked it! Happy, Happy Holidays! Wen

I immediately added this to my favorites when it came up in the voting booth. My only objection is that I could not give it more than a 10. This is one of the best I have seen. Thanks for sharing it. Merry Christmas.

Hi Wendy,

this is pretty cool. I tried something similar with a photo of a fir tree in our garden yesterday but it didn't work.

A special Merry Christmas to you.
