One last photo of my flowers from my garden. This was my favorite color of my flowers in my garden.

This is an unusual angle, Sunny, one that is normally not recommended because they usually come out dark. Your shooting of this one with enough sunlight from above, however, allowed the petals to become slightly translucent and the ambient light has kept the stem and that beautifully detailed base lit. For a photo, you've done an excellent job with this piece, but you can go even further with the next one. Here's a few suggestions: 1) keep a piece of bright white cardboard in your camera case. In a shot like this, holding it below the flower, out of the frame, reflects just enough soft sunlight up into the bottom of the flower to brighten it without washing it out as a flash would do. 2) It's a very nice photograph, but Caedesians download these images for wallpaper and so are more prone to appreciate a horizontal photo. I opened the largest size shown here, 1807x2536, and my screen self-cropped it to a little above the bottom of the petals. It was a whole new photograph. Try it and you'll see that quite often there are a number of photos hidden within a single shot - it's all a matter of creative cropping. And 3) Invest in a macro lens (wink). I bet this is the longest comment you've ever gotten. Keep shootin' and having fun.

I like your take on this shot, Sunny! I love the colour too, and how the lighting coming through the petals. Your capture also has nice depth of field. Very well done! :)

This is a Fabulous capture and love the angle, really showing off this wonderful flower from underneath. Super colour and detail.

Gave this a 10 in VB just a few minutes ago.
