I caught this one on the way to work the other day. It was early enough that the light was good, and just enough breeze to rough up the water a little.

What an excellent capture. I really like the detail in the feathers and face. The colors support your subject very well, too.

What an elegant photo!! The Heron stands there so royally as tho he is king of something...and then the reflections makes it twice as nice. But ahhh yes, the water enhances the whole thing. Congrats on this shot..Verena

The lines running throughout this hold a fascination in the viewing. That holds true for the colors and the light and shadow as well.
