A Modern Day Dragon E.

I love watching strangers watch gators. They all want to feed them something. LOL.

I have a neighbor that I would like to feed them. LOL. Nice shot of that beast, Elizabeth. He sure is mean looking, but then...they all are.

I hope he does not find the babies! And I think I know why Jim would like his neighbor to feed him....don't blame you Jim!
I'll bet you impressed the out of towners by getting this shot.
Good close up!

A nice Gator closeup, Elizabeth. You might have to wack him in the head with a monopod a few times if he gets near those Heron babies. Great post.

Hey, I'm impressed too! I hope you didn't get too close to this fellow. You reeled him in very well with your lens. I have been off in the other direction long before this. Fine capture, Elizabeth.

Indeed, this one looks entirely TOO close. How much telephoto did you have, anyway? Nice shot, scary, but nice!

I hope the babies are ok... To this guy they'd only be an appetizer... And I also hope you had a decent telephoto... ;-))

It looks like a Democrat gator looking for a little elephant meat Elizabeth. Fierce looking devil. I alway heard you let a sleeping gator lie. Or is that a dog? Whatever, this is a nice clear photo.
Good post.

Great Gator shot. Evertime I see one of these, I think about Hank Williams Jr. and his song "Country Boy". Tie him up to a Tree Stump in the swamp and let the gators do the rest. I know that's morbid, but that is what pops in my head everytime....Thanks for sharing and be careful out there.
