Tried a B&W on this shot, don't know if I like it or not. Opinions? Still an empty bench ;)

Be careful where you step Ami. I notice some of the geese have already discovered what I mean. Nice action shot. Get the campfire going and I will sit on the bench. May I suggest "goose on a spit." I do like the B/W even though it looks a little smooth.

Ami, I studies this one a long time and I think it works ok like this. I like the soft framing also. Not overbearing at all. It's good to try different techniques. A little soft on focus, I'll agree with Tick. =^..^=Sandi

It has more a sepia look than a new B/W and that makes it look like an old photograph. This I find attractive. Good post Ami.

I think the B&W looks nice. Excellent capture, Ami. You have made it look like a picture I might have taken years ago with an old Kodak Brownie camera. The soft focus makes it look even more like an old picture. Nice work.

Really a great B/W Ami. Love the Canadian geese, I called them honkers because that's the way they sound, honk honk. I see one of them is doing the Goose Step, lol.

Fabulous framing, bravo

I agree with .Ramad's comments above regarding the Sepia look. It does make it look like a very old photograph, as well as the framing that looks like old time B&W prints. Nice work.

I think the effect works. Definite feeling of an old photo.

I'm voting for color! The snowy patches would stand out more, the geese have a variety of color against the neutral background and the bench would stand out more. :) Love the frame! :)

Not that I dont like Geese but I think a close up of the empty bench in B&W would be alot better.
