I really like the sculptures we have at the hospital where I work. This one was done by Victor Salmones in 1972 in Mexico City~ the inscription reads "With compassion he listened to all" He sits in the front of the main doors to the hospital.

I suppose it represents a person (patient) sitting with head bowed down in pain? prayer? grief? Whatever it is, it is a very nice sculpture well captured and presented, Ami.

I like the sculpture, and the backdrop of the building is cool. If I might make a suggestion, it wouold be to shoot this in a way where the cement base is eliminated.. just sculpture, and building. perhaps if you got closer, and used a wider angle? good eye for the subject, regardless.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

A beautiful sculpture. I love the simple elegance of it. Nice eye! The lighting and smooth textures add a nice atmosphere. I too would like to see more of it, from different angles, lighting and possible closer comp. Wonderful!
