This is also autumn, already the leaf is not yet green. The tree sits full with acorns. Some animals find them delicious to eat. Squirrels and Flemish jay collect acorns and hide them as a winter stock, where a considerable part becomes to forget. Because of this they ensure also the distribution of the oak. The acorns become also collected by children. With matches rods become there animals and dolls made of.

I always found the fruit of the oak tree most interesting and depending on the variety of oak, the shape of the acorns differ greatly. Wonderful shot, Lien, it show good color and varied stages of marurity of the acorns.

This is gorgeous and went right onto my screensaver slideshow! I have never seen acorns like that! The colors are great and the whole picture is so pleasing to the eye! Thanks for this one!
