OK..I know I'm late on this but this is my post in memory of all the soldiers that served. It's been crazy around here and I finally was able to get some photos done. Please forgive me that I haven't been commenting on photos lately. Thanks ahead of time for any comments.

I'm always torn about these kinds of shots. Especially since I enjoy photographing graveyards, the older the better. I think time and distance gives us a better perspective of these places and of the fallen's roll in history. At the moment though, I can't see beyond the endless lies and deceptions that put so many good men and women in harms way. Our military personnel are second to none and to see them squandered on what are essentially vendettas, is heartbreaking.

No worries! I know how you feel! This is a great post and really brings home the the reason for Memorial Day! This is the name and last resting place for a young man who gave his life for us. A very moving post!
