Not really a shoreline as such, but there seems to be no relevant category. Old fishermens & mariners cottages tumble down the steep hillside of Robin Hoods Bay, Yorkshire. Now the home of an artists community & holiday lets, it was reputed that smuggled barrels of rum etc would enter the village at the harbour end and resurface at the top of the village having made their way through a warren of underground passages & cellars. Ah, free enterprise. Enjoy

Really been enjoying your posts as of late. (And that is not to say, nor, exclude your previous postings.)

Time, you know?

This one is no exception.

Thanks for sharing your creative efforts and photographic talents with us. :o)

p.s. Oohh ... don't worry, 'caveats' will be forthcoming, time and opportunity permitting ...

/\ Just kidding a bit here. ;o)

Edit: "Not really a shoreline as such, but there seems to be no relevant category."

'Architecture'? Or, most probably ... 'City'?

let me tell ya sumthin, Barry, it is a very rare thing when I save and fav a city scape image but I did this one. You stopped me dead in my tracks with this. I stared at it and studied it for a long time. It is so full of life and realisim. Excellent.

Personally, I like the creativity shown in selecting "Shorelines" as a category...that street DOES look like a winding stream, there is the craggy bank and the usual questionable types hanging around. (Isn't that a Travelocity gnome I see there on the left?) Seriously, the textures are really brought out, and your focus and composition are impeccable as always.

Diagon Alley! I love the gnome; it ads a fitting touch. A slight blur keeps me from reading all the signs. Loved your use of words in the description.

Exceptional photo. So clear and crisp it almost doesn't look real -- rather like a movie set. I half expect to see Robin Williams as Popeye swagger by. I have a fondness for architecture and this one is definitely going into my desktop pictures folder on my Mac.
