I'm not sure what the name of this particular little dragonfly is. He was just so cute with his tail in the air all the time. One of the smallest dragonflies I've seen so far. Nice redish color. Boy it sure was a hot day and I almost went home too quickly. Critters kept showing up so I stayed a while longer.

I don't know the names of dragonflies at all, so I am of no use on that score. If insects can be cute, this one qualifies!!! I was thinking you should have cropped this to show the critter a little clearer, but I'm glad you didn't because the composition shows you how little this one really is. The clarity is flawless, and I wouldn't change a thing :)PJ

Frank, you've really been coming up to the challenge lately. I'm trying for all I'm worth to find something about this photo to improve and I just don't see a thing. The image is crystal clear, good color, well framed. Good title too...LOL Nice work. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

They all look like acrobats to me. He is so pretty, especially against the light green leaves.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

This is great Frank, you are the only one that got one on a plant instead of a stick, great color and focus, love the green background.
