I was not pleased with the first upload of this picture. One of the basic rules of drawing is to get up and walk away from a piece of work that you are doing then later come back and look at it with fresh eyes. I am so pleased with the comments on the first draft...thank you! I just could not leave it the way it was. I feel like I was hasty in uploading the first one.

Frank, in spite of some possible flaws, I was struck by the previous one. The charm and the exuded spontaneity of this portrait has made it to a favorite of mine.
I know that you're always striving for perfection with the result that this one is even a more professional one.
A wall hanger for sure.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
