I think your European Robin is actually a Nuthatch or at the very least a member of the Sparrow family Count B. It is a puny little thing. That being said, this is really a great shot. :)

A great closeup, Richie! Although for some reason, I've a sudden craving for sunflower seeds. :)
I love the colors on this bird. The bright orange breast and face, blending into gray, and then brown is very nice and looks terrific against that background. Our robins aren't quite so colorful. Nice work!
