First one with the new Panasonic G3 & 40-200mm lens @ 200mm.f/5.6,1/250sec,ISO400.Aperture priority..Took a few test shots yesterday and I thought it may be returned,However after altering a few settings,I find this camera to be a really good choice..Metering is perfect.Just an old crow,Nothing special but I do like the way the metering has brought out the detail in the black..Good noise control also...R.

Richie - When I saw the title in the list, I thought you had captured Owd Bob on a photo safari. This old crow is giving you a wary glance while pauses between meals. It looks like you have a tough decision about the new camera. Thad

If this is an example of what the G3 (and you) can do I think you have a winner.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Think the crow isn't aware that it can be seen that detailed worldwide, Richie.

Super detail and capture, my cat Tasha loves watching them and does her little growl, it's so funny.

The details on the crow almost make him rather dignified and even beautiful. Great shot. Faved.
