Richie, think that it was about the 70's of the past century when I was in Liverpool for a port call. I that time it happened that a ship stayed in a port for a couple of days. On this occasion I got the opportunity to participate in a sightseeing tour to Llangollen (wild water kayaking), and stayed on our way to it a couple of hours in Chester. I was amazed to see these typical houses. I thought that they were only built this way in Germany, Austria and Swiss. When I see your image, it's like I'm there again. Thanks for another fine capture of typical architecture!
