A first for me....Their beaks are crossed over to enable them to get at the seeds in the pine cones..Isn't nature marvellous..Taken with my old manual focus lens..It sure makes me think when taking pictures...R.

The beak is like that of an eagle, Nice and clear capture.

The bird is really camouflaged well, and I've never seen or heard of a beak like that before. Congratulations on catching this one!
