Richie, according to THIS STORY it's a scene from a long time ago. The mail coaches continued unchallenged until the 1830s. From 1840 mail coaches were starting to be withdrawn from service because of the development of railways..
Your artwork does revive some kind of nostalgia. It has to be cherished to a certain extent because the nowadays soft- and hardware developments (called 'progression', 😁) don't offer us nostalgia anymore.
