the eyes to my window are shut but you can see right through her, sie face touches the sea with open arms but the sand goes right through her, i look at the sun but the rays bounce to the ground, what is left of a soul created by some eyes at the end of the sea. (jolie painted oil - canvas ~Feb 2010)

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I feel like I am behind a mirror looking into your bathroom as you are standing in front of the glass.
To me the background is a shower curtain and the yellow and blue thing is a place to sit and read.
The combed back hair may have been freshly washed in that shower.
The shut eyes were once open and staring into the mirror. But, for protection, for forgetting, for the pleasures of blackness, are now closed.
The body is clean but the soul is not.

I dont know how to add to this one?I think once again John hit it pretty well. The empty eyes do remind me someone who has lost her soul but does not know it. They go on living and functioning day to day as by the outside color on her face and surroundings. It is start in nature but it grounds me. If that makes sense? Very well done!!
