The beauty of taking pictures of swans on The New Brighton Model Boating Lake is that the swans are not aggressive. They don't live on the pond but fly in and out every day so they don't have nests to defend. They have no young here so again, nothing to defend. They fly to this shallow pond because they know that there will be a steady stream of people willing to feed them all day. Yesterday I counted 19 swans on this small pond and a constant supply of people coming to feed them.

They are equipped with camcorders to report every move at the pond Caruso. Someone is watching you and the rest. There must be something secretive going on there. I think this is the kingpin swan. Be careful. Great post.
