This is the first photo I'm posting on here taken with my new camera! It is the first time I have ever taken a photo of a bird. Taken at 35X Zoom Camera- Canon Powershot SX30 IS

Congrats on the new camera and on your first bird photo. A nice shot with some good lighting and colours in it. Perhaps crop the photo at the "Y" in the branch to the left and below the bird and again above at the tip of that lone branch. This would offset the bird in the composition and bring it more into focus. A good shot and thanks for sharing.

New Camera, so cool! I had a much earlier Canon superzoom (Actually still got it.) and many of my early images in my gallery were taken with it. You get a LOT of kit for your dollar from full auto to full manual and that amazing zoom range. You are going to have a lot of fun.
