I took this when I was with my family on a ride through the back roads of Six Mile Alabama. We passed by this very old building that looked like it was either a church, school, or both. We stopped by, walked in, and there were two very old pianos, and a chalkboard. This is one of the pianos we found in the abandoned building.

Good for you Brandon, for seeing the potential here.
You could have taken a bit more off the left side to decentralize the piano, though the barren emptiness is actually more powerful, and isn't adversely affected by it. Well done.

Awesome lines in this one Brandon. The lines of the flooring, lines on the roofing, lines of the walling, converging roofline and floorline and the strong line of the corner which dominates because you put it, smartly, right smack on the thirds line. Then there's the way the piano and the door, both lines and oblongs break up the other lines and somehow accentuate the space by doing it. You have a bit of lens parallax to correct, to make the right corner line properly perpendicular and same for the left corner line and the door jams. You saw a beauty with this one and you captured it very well.

It is not "The powerful attack the weak." it is "The fearful attack what they fear."

Hmm. I pass by Six Mile all the time. I'll have to keep my eyes open for this.
I always wonder - Why? - about abandoned places like this one. Who was here? What did they do? Did they ever imagine it would be left empty some day. I think you captured the empty loneliness of it well.

People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
