Wonderful 'birds-eye view' of Venice, Carlos. An 'eye-opener' as most of the Venice pictures that I've seen were taken on ground level. Brings Venice in a more proper perspective!

I have always wondered along with places like New Orleans, why go through the trouble to build in a place that required so much work to maintain where higher ground is not far away. Venice is very beautiful, and I am glad they did choose the location.
