I captured this from the bridge that joints the old city with the modern part of Toledo, Spain.

I've studied your picture several times, Carlos. But it isn't still clear to me which settings you've used.
When I see the water just flowing over the ledge, think you have used a well-chosen relatively long shutter opening time in order to achieve a good impression from the fast-flowing water. I therefore had expected that the further away showed foam and bubbles also would have shown less detail, but the opposite is the case however.
Because of my relatively long career in photography, I hadn't expected that an image would make me puzzling this way. Thanks for that, and thanks too for this very fine image, my friend.

Well, Carlos, this will be my first official critique of one of your shots. I read what Cornelius said because I've looked at this image a number of times, downloaded it and studied it even more closely. It seems that this image is really two separate images which I know it's not. From the dam headed upstream looks to me like a fine landscape. The building on the left is well detailed.

However, there's something different about the shot in the rapids and in the detail of the foliage...almost as if the image is duplicated. I would really like to know what software you used during your post photo work. All and all it's a fascinating shot.

I'm really happy that you guys have taken so much interest in my shot, I really do. This image taken with a Nikon d5300, the lens was a Tamron 17-50, the editing tool was Lightroom 6 or cc, and I used a med HDR with some sharpening, that was all
