The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.
Vladimir Lenin

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right.
George Orwell , 1984

I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.
Robert A. Heinlein, The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress

I am not what you call a civilized man! I have done with society entirely, for reasons which I alone have the right of appreciating. I do not, therefore, obey its laws, and I desire you never to allude to them before me again!
Jules Verne, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea

The great and abiding lesson of American history, particularly the cold war, is that the engine of capitalism, the individual, is mightier than any collective.
Rand Paul

John, based on your quotes I have tried to understand what these greats have in common. I came up with many options. Not that I want to associate myself with their vision, thougts, and actions, but their degree of tenacity and intransigence to achieve a certain goal is at the top of this list.
It's really great that you were able to visualize what these quotes radiate with your intriguing render. Again perfectly done.

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

Quite the statement you have made with this rather spine chilling exceptional image John. The music is wonderful thank you. I am amazed that Rodrigo the composer was near blind from age 3 and did not play the guitar. He was a pianist. A genius.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
