John, 'Another World' can be interpreted in several ways. For believers it's the afterlife and for people who think and or hope that extraterrestrial life exists, this is the extraterrestrial world somewhere in the universum. Because of the different starting points, it's terribly difficult to visualize an indefinable concept like 'Friendships' somewhere there. I think you yet did an excellent job of conveying your point of view on this one. Your choice of music and part of the lyrics of the Beatles song are an essential part of this point of view.
