I haven't even had a few egrets. Nice title and good capture. Lovely colours, thanks for sharing.

Good morning Cindy
This is structurally very nice. The colour balance is good, placement of the main subject is right,, the way the trees curve from the right around the back into the shadows acts like a containment to the image, while the movement of highlights from front to back enhances the effect. Good focus and detail. The only negative to my own mind is the loss of detail on the body of the egret, but white is always a difficult colour to work with, especially in a high-contrast image such as this.
