You're right Christina, the colouring is perfect for the scene. The placement of the dominant plant on the left there is perfect comp for the vertical aspect.

Legitimate leadership flows from love. Anything less is violence incognito.
Nice lighting on the foreground plant, good clear detail there as well. I might have been tempted to utilize the traditional "rule of thirds" and start my foreground another foot lower. Fun experimentation with color. Beautiful mood-conveying pic.

I like the foreground grasses and plant life. I kind of would liked to have seen less of the "white" at the top tho. Kind of agree with the 'rule of thirds' thing. Other than that,its good how you've chosen to show these plants. Verena
