The Colosseum in Rome by night, last April. I liked it a lot better at night...seemed more ancient, less busy...just old and looming, yet beautiful.

This ancient building always fascinates me with marvelous architecture - so much history. I bet it felt weird to stand where so many in the past have stood. The night view is full of beauty, with the lovely golden glow, and a full moon to boot! The curve of the building is perfect. Many thanks Christopher, for this wonderful scene :^)
