I had to do some 'station keeping' to maintain this 'First Rank' position in order to capture this rather unique maritime scene on the Western Scheldt river in Zeeland, The Netherlands.

From left to right can be seen: the BC (Bulk Carrier) 'Issara Naree' (Thailand), the LCS (Large Container Ship) MSC 'Zoe' (Panama) (largest container ship of the world by August 2015), the GCS (General Cargo Ship) 'Szymanowski' (Cyprus), and the Fast Ferry 'Willem Alexander' (Holland).

Impressive shot Cornelius. I am also impressed that you got the names of all four. Very nice capture.

The focus on all of them is so good Mr. C. I think it's rather unique capture, to get all of them in one shot, kudos on this one my friend. tigs=^..^=

Cornelius - What a great find on this busy river channel! I'm sure that each is at a safe distance, yet it looks like a collision is imminent in this image. A good use of the rule of thirds in this composition.

Outstanding capture of all these magnificent looking cargo ships, excellent crispness and detail, just just so amazing to see them actually floating for all they have on them.

Wow, that's a very busy port, the big one looks like he's in the ocean now thanks to the link, the Szymanowski is in the Singapore Straits. Love the links - thanks and enjoy info like this

You must have influence over the waters there, Mr. C. You got them all to come to one place for a shot. Very impressive! It turned out beautifully, too. Excellent work.

Your waters are so interesting with such large vessels, Mr. C. This photo is amazing and shows the differences in sizes one rarely sees within hailing distance of one another. Great shot.
