Ship Ahoy Ladies!

I see by the expression on her face and by her attitude that the female 'sailor' on starboard side (left of the image) isn't a that experienced one. She's not yet accustomed that on 'high seas' the conditions aren't that 'stable', lol.

Her colleague on the port side of this rigid 'sophisticated' canoe shows a mix of both compassion and fun.

My entry for Manic Monday!

Reminds me of the floating rafts we used to make on board with empty drums and planks of wood for doing painting work on the ship's side in port. Good one for manic Monday with these two with their "Kon-Tiki" expedition.

Are they related to Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn? That homemade watercraft would probably beat out anything they (Tom &Huck) would have made, in a race. Excellent shot for Manic Monday, Mr. C.

This took me back to Tom Sawyer, and Huck Finn. You caught their expressions so well, excellent image, and perfect MM.

Great action shot and a great use for those 40 gallon drums. I love the girls' expressions you captured Cornelius

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

These young ladies are having fun on the water with this homemade raft. Good design. I'd put a net or platform in the middle to lounge on. A fine image capture.
