This is very beautiful and dramatic in black and white, Mr. C. I love the angle of the shot, and that sky is awesome. Well done...and an outstanding entry to the challenge.
I agree with Jim thus is one very dramatic looking photography and love how it is in B&W it adds to,the dramatic feel to this photo. The sky at the back of the church is breath taking and the light on the trees too.Your are a master of landscape photo Mr C and a great gift in capturing colours as well.
The B/W certainly enhances the cloud formations. The church dome appears to be rising out of the trees, much like a space ship. Composition and presentation are top-notch, Cornelius.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
Always a bit 'god-fearing' when you see dramatic skies over a place of worship!.... This is a beauty, well worked and presented and a doozy for the challenge
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
