The farmer (at the background of this image) is 'maintaining' his Dianthus barbatus (Sweet William) field.
Seems to be a time consuming job, because it's handiwork.
Image was recently taken on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Starting from the outside, the border is excellent, Sea. I like the simple perspective with the plants on the left. Nice colors, but this is way too much work for one guy. He must have some helpers somewhere.
Nice detail picking up the tiled roof and the texture of the building face. I also see contrails in the sky. No complaints this time again.

I'll bet the scent of those flowers is wonderful. I have Sweet William in my yard in the spring. Wonderfully composed shot, with the diagonal of the flowers and the nice colors of the roof tops and sky. The worker is good for perspective, too. (I saved this)
