In the 'PS' of the narrative of This One I said: "Because I got similar requests for some other of my B&W images, think that I'll post them in the future as colored versions too."

So, here's a colored version of my initially posted Enjoying The Lake In B&W B&W image.

This one was taken on one of the borders of the Lake of Veere, Zeeland, The Netherlands, in the summer of 2016.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Mostly a color version always looks better than a b/w version. Here also it is the case. Very nice view and photo of it Cornelius.

The jetty leads the eye to a somewhat busy lake!..I can just see you on that grassy footpath and imagine you in that typical photographer's stance to snap this delightful scene!

Both are superbly done, but I will say I prefer this one of the two. It just seems to grab my attention a bit more. tigs=^..^=

I think it looks great either way but tend to favour the b&w :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I'm with Lyn on this one - both excellent Mr. C. but I'd slightly favor the B&W.

Both color and black and white are excellent. I can't anything wrong with either. There are so many elements in this shot that I think I favor the color. The details are wonderful including the grass growing between the stones and the row of small sailboats on the left. It's easier to enjoy the maroon sail in color.

While B&W is a different view of an image I much prefer Color.
Color images are much more life like and I can relate to more than B&W. Just one man's Opinion. Like your take and the lines on this one Mr.C

I just can not choose one style over another...b&w vs color... because both have strong merits. I'm just as much a fan of your b&w as your color image Cornelius. I do think in some cases a good b&w really captures some raw moods and sometimes that has to do with decisions on editing.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
