With this this image and this one too, I've showed you that in Holland decorating a local traffic roundabout with flowers is a rather common use.
This image, taken on June 23th, 2018, proofs again that the Dutch are crazy about flowers. Maybe it's even manic, ☺ . In the latter case this photo is a good contribution for Manic Monday .

We have it too in some places but mostly plants or statues etc. This is lovely. A very colourful and beautiful shot Cornelius.

here in Michigan they just start putting in roundabouts, there was one in Chelsea Mi on M52 put in, a world away from you Mr C. i think someone captured a video of it, truck just plowed right through the middle of it the first week.
many youtube vids of the same thing, I came up on it at night time and if your not use to it? I can see it happening. still make me giggle over it though.

This looks a bit like a genie's lamp - how many wishes will you be granted you cross the road to the roundabout island to rub the lamp? A very beautiful composition, Cornelius.

I'm not a fan of the round abouts we have here maybe because they are not common and nobody seems to know what to do. Love the way this is planted so colorful!
