If you check-out THIS LINK you can calculate that Macro images have a limited Depth Of Field (DOF).

This image was captured with a Nikon D5300 body and a AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm 1:3 5 G ED VRII lens. I had the choice to focus manually at the middle, right or left side of these Dahlia Twins. In the first case both the flowers would have shown bokeh. In the latter case, only one of them would show the bokeh phenomenon (so definitively not blurred however, 😁). I've chosen to focus on the one on the right.

If you like more to know about the bokeh phenomenon, please check-out THIS LINK.

It's my Foofy Friday (F²) contribution.

That was the camera my late brother used Mr. C. - this is excellent and I think your focus choice was a good one!

WOW! Very striking! The two together make a gorgeous photo, I like the framing also. Super all the way around.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
